I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, at the University of California, Irvine. My research interests are drive in the realms of larval fishes, particularly how they behave to capture prey, and avoid predators. I have always found larval stages of fishes fascinating because fishes are considered small and vulnerable at hatching, and they must overcome life-changing challenges to grow and metamorphose to functional adults, and then serve important roles in there habitats.
