Teaching and Outreach Experiences
I have served as a teaching assistant, teaching associate, and graduate assistant for many courses at CSU Fullerton and UC Irvine. I have primarily taught labs for organismal biology and mammalian physiology courses, but have also taught introduction lab and pedagogy activities. I have also been invited as a guest lecturer for topics in fisheries sciences and management.
I also have a strong interests in outreach education to provide middle- and high-school students with science lab and research opportunities. I have provided short-courses and off-campus research opportunities to 7th to 12th grade students from underserved schools and unrepresented communities.
